Referred to as 'Old Blue' because this is Turquoise that was mined quite a few years ago (mid 1990's) and as you can see has a deeper Blue coloring with more charcoal color matrix. As Turquoise is mined various colors emerge depending on the area being excavated and the time frame from mine to processing the rough to making the beads can be extensive. With the current Boulder Turquoise having been released, this Old Blue might as well be referred to as 'Old Old Blue'.
