Rhodochrosite Sterling Earrings by Navajo Artisan Shirley Henry Native American Indian Silver Jewelry NAER-1530. Nicknamed Chocolate Rhodocrosite for reasons that appear rather obvious. Perfectly cut matching stones for earrings is always a difficult task but Kudos to the lapidary for capturing the glorious essence of this beautiful stone. We are huge fans of Navajo Silversmith Shirley Henry and with years of experience she does not disappoint in complimenting these stones with her clean lines of contemporary design.

Rhodochrosite (nicknamed 'The Love stone') is a very attractive mineral with an absolutely one-of-a-kind beautiful rosy color. Rhodochrosite (whose name means rose-colored) often forms pink and white bands but this rare cut showcases various shades of cocoa throughout nicknaming it Chocolate Rhodochrosite. There are many localities for Rhodochrosite throughout the world including the Sweet Home Mine in Colorado.
