It has indeed been a hectic Holiday Season and a good portion of time is spent at the Post Office ensuring our parcels ship promptly. Thank goodness for some memorable moments of dialogue which makes you wish you had a recorder to capture the many moments we are confident the patient workers deal with on a daily basis.
Here are two that just simply 'stand out' as our funniest moments:
USPS Rep to Customer upon checking/verifying the Shipping Address: "Address is not correct."
Customer to Rep: "Did they move?"
Second Precious Moment:
Customer to Rep: "How long will this take to get there?"
USPS Rep to Customer: "X number of days for 1st Class (and so on for Priority and Express)."
Customer to Rep: "If I put 'Two' stamps on it will it get there sooner?"
Be kind to your Post Office workers as they really do hear a lot throughout the day!
