Kokopelli Stamp Solid Sterling Silver Belt Buckle Navajo Andrew Henry Special Buy Final Sale NABB-00001. Solid sterling silver belt buckle. The belt buckle is hand crafted by Navajo artist Andrew Henry of Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona. The buckle measures 3 inches wide by 2 inches high.

Andrew Henry is from Tse'yi' (Canyon de Chelly) where he lives with his wife beading artist, Bessie Henry, and their children.

Canyon de Chelly
has a living community of Navajo people, who are connected to a landscape of great historical and spiritual significance. Canyon de Chelly is unique among National Park service units, as it is comprised entirely of Navajo Tribal Trust Land that remains home to the canyon community. NPS works in partnership with the Navajo Nation to manage park resources and sustain the living Navajo community.

Kokopelli
is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with a huge phallus and feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who has been venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. He is also a trickster god and represents the spirit of music.
