Referred to as 'Old Blue' because this Turquoise rough was mined, processed and cut quite a few years ago (1980's to mid 1990's) and as you can see has a deeper blue coloring with more charcoal color matrix. As Turquoise is mined various colors emerge depending on the area being excavated and the time frame from mine to processing the rough to beads can be very timely.
