Large White Buffalo Turquoise Pendant with two Sterling Feathers Native American Indian Jewelry by Navajo Artisan Bobby Becenti. Beautiful White Buffalo stone specimen with an off white creamy color. This Stone offers a touch of gray black matrix and a swirl of deeper cream with an area of translucency giving this piece a very rugged unique look. This White Buffalo Pendant sports two sterling silver feathers and has an overall length of approximately 3 1/4 inches long from the top of the bail to the bottom of the feathers by 1 inch at the widest point. The bail is substantial and more flat than rounded to lay flatter on chain or cord. Currently the bail will fit beads up to 5mm but certainly can be opened further for larger beads. Silversmith Stamp 'BB' - Bobby Becenti.
The Native American feather is used to represent freedom, power, wisdom, honor, trust, strength, and much more. It was often given as a sign of respect and honor by chiefs or elders as a symbol of strength. Being given a feather of any kind was considered a gift. It should be seen as a daily reminder of how one should behave.
