Old Blue Mix Arizona Kingman Turquoise Graduating Wafer Disc Designer Bead Strand #28 approximately 14 1/2 inch temporarily strung American Turquoise Jewelry Making Supplies. Beautiful even cut strand ranging in size from 18mm in the center to 8mm at the ends with a thickness range of 2mm to 4mm with most at 2.5mm to 3mm making for a smooth graduated strand. Beautiful range of color including teals and lighter blues as well as charcoal and coppery matrix. These Graduating Strands are part of our private stock that we periodically release.

Referred to as 'Old Blue' because this is the Turquoise that was mined quite a few years ago and as you can see has a deeper blue coloring with more charcoal color matrix. As Turquoise is mined various colors emerge depending on the area being excavated and the time frame from mine to processing the rough to beads can be very timely. With the current Boulder having been released, this Old Blue might as well be referred to as 'Old Old Blue'. The last image below might give you a glimpse of the color variation of the Old Blue with the top strand being current stock of Blue. In this image you can clearly see the color tone difference.
