After retiring in 2001 from extremely gratifying long term careers in both public and private sectors, we have been truly blessed with the opportunity to spend much time with our Native American friends throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Indulging ourselves in the spiritual serenity and inner peace of the American Southwest, our true inspiration comes from watching the children learning various craft disciplines from their elders and continuing a heritage thousands of years in the making. We are fortunate to meet with many of our artists directly or often through one of their friends or family members. During a 5/6 week trip, it is not uncommon to spend anywhere from 6 to 8 hours a day looking at a variety of creations - sounds like a dream job (truly that part is) - the hard part is not buying it all.  Without any doubt every piece has its own spirit and uniqueness.  We are proud to offer a collection of works from both traditional and contemporary Native American silversmiths and bead artists of which many would typically not have any exposure outside their own circle. It is our mission to bring these treasures to you directly which translates to lower prices for you and higher prices for the artist and their families so relying on the income from their craft.

Many aspects of our personal life are influenced by the time spent with our Native American friends. This interaction has also helped shape our business philosophy. We have always sought to find a balance of quality and price for all our products and work very hard to achieve that. We handselect all our beads and test all our jewelry making supplies - no catalog shopping or 'surprise' overseas shipments for us.  Because many of our products are unique, our quantities are often limited and suggest our customers take advantage of the product while it is in stock. When excellent opportunities present themselves, we purchase all we can and pass those savings on to you. If you are producing very specific designs in quantity that require the same gemstone, organic or glass beads, this may not be the store for you.  If you are a designer who is inspired by the concept of new and fresh, then you may want to register as a customer to benefit from being the first to know when new product is available.  The process of selecting and experimenting with various products is extremely time consuming but gives us the confidence that you will be pleased with your purchase.

Just for the Fun of it....

Four Corners USA is really a party of 5!  As in most families, the children rule the 'Roost' - our home is no different. Introducing The 'Babies' 

Let's start with the eldest, Indy. Then again the name should be a hint for his age - our little boy is 18 years old and still going strong! On an early trip to the southwest we noticed every time we spoke the word "Indian", Indy would come running and meowing. He did this repeatedly for the duration of our trip which needless to say became quite comical as we realized he always thought we were calling him.

Several weeks later this little Bichon "found us" and what else could we do - his name is Jewels. So now the inspiration for our company is truly reflected, Indy-n-Jewels. He is about as adorable & loving as they come and appears to 'hang' on every word David or I say (that is actually better than talking to yourself). Over the years this guy has certainly earned his chewies and treats by attracting some business for us!

Our youngest, Miss Pearl, is a Chinese Crested who found us at the Augusta Futurity Horse Show. We were very concerned about bringing Miss Pearl home as Jewels thinks he is the only dog in the world or at least in our world. Well, she hopped on the bed between us, gave our sensitive little Jewels a growl and that confrontation was over - the littlest one now rules! She plays with Indy and helps keep him on his 'toes'!
