2-3mm Mellon Shell Heishi - Creamy pale melon color. Long 24 inch bead strands.
If you have never worked with Heishi - it is really wonderful and easy to work with. It also has a large whole considering the size of the bead.
Stringing Tip: Working right from the strand, work your beading wire or needle through about an inch or so of the beads without removing them from the temporary thread. They are usually on double silk threads so separate them and clip on (so all the beads don't fall off). Move some beads up the thread toward your clip and gently separate the thread so you can pull one through. This will allow you to work right off the strand easily with only one thread obstructing the hole. The holes in heishi are delightfully large enough for even heavy beading wire up to .020. When you leave the heishi in sequence, you will ensure your design has that silky look just as it did on the original strand when you purchase it.
